We all want to start 2020 on the right foot. Here’s a list of 10 things to do to be ready for 2020.
Reflect On The Past Year
Did you accomplish anything you wanted to do this year or are you still stuck in the same spot as the year before? Fact is, if you fail to plan you plan to fail. Think what you could do differently this time around and come up with a 2020 action plan.
2. Set Goals
Set realistic and measurable goals that will make you feel excited and motivated for the new year. It is better to have a fewer goals with a detailed and realistic action plan than having many goals with no plan or time frame in mind.
3. Get Your House In Order
Nothing says “I’m ready for the new year!” like having a clean and organized living space. Get all that dusty old 2019 clutter out of your life and make room for all your 2020 blessings!
4. Reevaluate Your Relationships
Before the new year reflect on your relationships and make note of the ones that really help you to grow and bring out your best self. The more good relationships we nurture is the better the environment we have to thrive and achieve in the new year.
5. Invest In A Good Planner or Journal
Start off the new year right by getting in the habit of writing things down in an organized way. The more we write down is the more we’ll remember and be more self aware of what’s currently going on in our lives vs. what we need to do to stay on top of things.
6. Create Systems To Simplify Everyday Tasks
Think back to all the things that worked well for you last year and make that the standard for how you approach things this year. If using a budgeting app to track your spending worked well for you before then keep it up!
